Being creative, passionate and entrepreneurial has always been my footprint. This new weblog, Alison*s Art is the home for the ventures that resulted from the steps I have taken in life. This weblog is an accumulation of my body of work, wealth of experience, knowledge and skills in three areas, ART | FOOD | HEALING. The time spanned is approximately thirty years to date.
The evolution of Alison*s Art into Alison*s Heirloom Projects has taken place in each of the three areas. These heirloom projects allow for the preservation of the original idea seeds, thoughts, concepts and results. They have provided a framework for the growth and added value in our present time.
My hope is that this foundational structure that has birthed the heirloom projects from the original Alison*s Art, will continue and allow for greater meaning in the future. The current ‘social media’ technology is ideal for preserving the original ventures, breathing life into the heirlooms as well as nurturing them now, so they will grow into whatever they are meant to be in the future.

I used a template in WP.org and customized it. There are many to choose from and you can play around with colors, patterns, number of columns, etc.
My blog is a WordPress.org template. I suggest that if you do not have experience with WordPress, Dreamweaver or code that you use WordPress.com. It is easier to start with. Good luck to you.

You can choose from tons of templates that you can customize. Start with the simplest approach and challenge yourself more

Yes, I do get quite a bit of spam. I thought there was supposed to be an app or something like that to keep it to a minimum. It may be part of JetPack. I am not sure. You’ll have to search around or keep asking other bloggers. Good luck.
